Quite pleasantly really as I got a slap up 3 course meal out of it, at Owatari in Kitsuki. Absolutely wonderful food!

Well we have now confirmed that we can take time off, so only the itinerary fine tuning remains.

I'll tell you our plans as they firm up, and would love to meet up if we can coordinate it :-)

AlexAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07142097290672785336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5119304641072351397.post-21675325801252820472012-03-18T22:46:48.188+09:002012-03-18T22:46:48.188+09:00Hi Alex, agree with your comments. If you happen to be passing through Kitakyushu on the way home, I'd be glad to meet up and show you a few of the sites around Moji if it fits in with your schedule, especially if it was a weekend. Also, like your description and explanation on the "Matsukaze for lunch" post! cheers, Rob.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04731199721956592441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5119304641072351397.post-6439344374258313942012-03-17T12:07:49.614+09:002012-03-17T12:07:49.614+09:00Hi Rob,

Amazing views, hope you get time to see some of the islands between Imabari and Onomichi, although the route back along Honshu also has some great places to visit too (Miyajima is a must!) Here's a link with some info. in English which you may find useful, but hope you enjoy the trip. If you have any questions or want more info, please fire away! All the relatives in Usa were telling me how nice and scenic the Kunisaki area is,so will make it out your way sooner rather than later I guess, so will let you know. Agree with your comment about Usa jingu, have been there many times and never get tired of going again. Called in at Nakatsu castle on the way home yesterday, quite small but worth a look and a couple of photos.
Cheers for now, Rob.Robhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04731199721956592441noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5119304641072351397.post-23855070656202285832012-01-29T23:09:40.981+09:002012-01-29T23:09:40.981+09:00Hi Rob, that's 70Km's with a lot of hard c...Hi Rob, that's 70Km's with a lot of hard climbs!? Definitely intend to do the Kunisaki area before too long, will wait til the weather gets a bit better!
